Genting Poker Series Non Gaming Rules and Terms and
Conditions
These Rules and Terms and Conditions include:
Image Rights and TV Table Rules
1. Media Disclaimer Form
a. At the start of play, or upon entry into any Genting
Poker Series event, players will be required to sign a Media
Disclaimer form.
b. Failure to sign the Media Disclaimer form, may result in
a player being disqualified from the tournament.
2. Image Rights
a. By taking part in a Genting Poker Series event, players
agree that their image, name and reasonable personal details (such
as town of residence and age) may be used in the following
ways:
i. Recording and broadcast
ii. Interviews, should they wish to give
one
iii. Blog and web updates
iv. Results databases
v. Photography to appear in print or on the
web
vi. Facebook updates
vii. Press Releases
viii. Other ways which Genting deems
appropriate for the promotion and publication of results from the
Genting Poker Series events.

3. TV Table specific rules
a. Players drawn on the TV Table are not permitted to use mobile
phones or electronic devices at the table. No
exceptions.
b. The TV table will be broadcast on a 30 minute delay
c. Players are not permitted, under any circumstances to enter the
TV commentary booth, unless they have been eliminated from the
competition, or are being interviewed.
Casino Membership and Visitors
1. Joining the host Casino
a. Players and supporters are required to become members of
the host casino and should therefore bring photo ID, such as
Driving Licence or Passport with them on their first visit to each
casino.
b. Players playing multiple Genting Poker Series legs,
should bring ID every time they visit a new venue.
c. All players must agree to abide by the General Rules and
Regulations of the host casino and by the Terms and Conditions of
Genting UK, which can be found here
2. Dress Code
a. The dress code in all casinos is smart casual, no ripped
jeans, no football / rugby / cricket kit tops, no shorts.
b. Wearing of hats and hoods is permitted in the Poker Room,
but must be removed when on the casino gaming floor or in other
public areas of the casino.
3. Friends and Spectators
a. Friends and spectators are permitted during Genting Poker
Series events, however they must remain behind the rail at all
times, and are not permitted any access to the poker room, unless
they are playing.
b. Spectators are not permitted to talk to their friends
whilst there is any play taking place on the table.
c. The Tournament Director reserves the right to remove
spectators from the poker room and or rail.
d. The final table will be set up in such a way that friends
and spectators can observe the action and 'rail' their friends.
General Terms and Condition and Rules
1. Tournament and Cash Game Rules
a. Genting Poker Series events have a specific set of
Tournament and Cash Game Rules.
b. These supersede the local rules in place at the host
casino

d. The online tournament and cash game rules remain as per
the GentingPoker.com standard rules.
2. Genting UK and Genting Alderney Terms and
Conditions
a. Genting Poker Series events will be run in accordance with
Genting UK Terms and
Conditions and Genting Alderney Terms
and Conditions
3. Registration (live events)
a. Registration for any event closes 15 minutes prior to the
start of the tournament.
b. Registration reopens once the tournament has commenced
for late entries and re-entries.
c. Late entries will be given the full starting stack
d. Main Event registration is open until the end of
the level 9 of Day 1

e. Side Event registration is open until the end of the
first break.

f. All tournaments are re-entry, and players are permitted
to re-enter once only.
i. Any player entering a single event more than
twice, will be disqualified.
4. Registration (online event)
a. Registration closes 1 second before the tournament
starts
b. There are no late entries, re-entries or alternates
available for the online leg.

5. Prize Payouts
a. Genting Poker Series Main Events have a guaranteed
£100,000 prize pool
b. First prize for the Main Events in legs 1 to 7
comprises a guaranteed
c. Therefore the total value of first prize is
guaranteed at £25,000
d. Prize Payout structures can be found here
e. We reserve the right to pay players with cheques
rather than cash.
fg. We can also send prize money to player's banks or Genting
Poker accounts, if players wish.
6. End of Day Chip Counts
a. Players who reach the end of a days play in a multi day
event, are required to remain at the table whilst their chip count
is verified and signed for.
7. Deals
a. Deals are permitted during live Genting Poker Series
events.
b. No deals are available during the Online Genting Poker
Series leg.
c. All deals must be agreed using the Red and Black card
system, as detailed in the Tournament
Rules
d. In the event of a deal being made for a Main Event, the
Grand Final seat (if applicable) cannot be part of the deal, and
players must play on to determine the winner of the Grand Final
seat, trophy and title.
8. Tournament Director and Genting
Decisions
a. The Tournament Director and Genting's decisions are final
with regard to all matters related to the Genting Poker
Series.
b. Whilst our aim is not to make any changes, we reserve the
rights to change any aspect of the Genting Poker Series if we
believe it is in the interests of the game, the company or the
players.
c. Any such changes will be communicated as soon as is
practically possible
9. Force Majure
Where the prize pool is guaranteed, the guarantee will not apply
in the event where the attendance of players is affected as a
result of events or acts which are beyind the reasonable control of
Genting UK or Genting Alderney. This includes but is not limited
to: weather, fire, explosion, flood, earthquake, other natural
disaster, war, threat of war or preparation for war, attack or risk
of attack by terrorists, civil unrest and / or civil war, voluntary
or mandatory compliance with any relevant law (including a failure
to obtain a licence or consent needed or any change in the law or
interpretation of the law), accidental damage, adverse weather
conditions. Similarly the organisers retain the right to cancel and
/ or reschedule an event should any of the events outlined above
occur.
